Eligibility Criteria for appearing in AIIMS NORCET 11
The willing candidates must possess the following eligibility application to appear for AIIMS NORCET 11 or Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test.
| Essential Qualification | B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University. Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council. OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council. Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council. Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable. Remarks – The required two years of experience as required above is as an essential criterion and to be valid, the experience must be acquired after obtaining Essential Qualification, i.e. after completing residency period of the course, declaration of result & registration with State / Indian Nursing Council. |

AIIMS NORCET 11 Nursing Officer Selection Process
The Selection of AIIMS Nursing Officer through NORCET will be in order of merit as per NORCET Score in any AIIMS. Based on the declaration in the Online Registration Form, the candidates will be provisionally eligible to appear for Online (Computer Based Test) Recruitment Examination. Thereafter the qualified/ Selected candidates in this CBT should go for multi-stage document verification in online/offline mode as prescribed including verification by respective AIIMS from original & others. Thus the selection process shall consist of –
- Computer Based Test (Stage I & Stage II).
- Document Verification.
AIIMS NORCET 11 Application Process
The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ON-LINE mode. The On-line application link is live through AIIMS web site aiimsexams.ac.in from 24th June 2026 to 13th August 2026. Candidates should not send any documents including the Registration Slip of on-line application in Physical form. However, all the applicants should keep a copy of registration slip with them, along with proof of payment for their record. AIIMS NORCET 11 Examination Scheme
The applicants who are planning to appear for this AIIMS NORCET 11 must know that the Selection Test will be an Online Test and it is termed as CBT or Computer Based Test. Hence, all of the applicants need to appear the test through online mode. As per the AIIMS Official Notification, the Authority will conduct the NORCET examination in two successive stages as below –

AIIMS NORCET 11 Preliminary Examination Scheme
The AIIMS NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination qualifying of which will allow the candidates to appear in Stage II: NORCET Main, subject to conditions as described below for preparation of the list of candidates called for Stage II. The Preliminary Examination is the screening stage and the NORCET Preliminary is qualifying in nature and AIIMS shall not consider its score to decide Merit/ Rank for final selection.
